Designed to cut copper wire only. Precision holes for wire stripping. Lean plier nose pulls and loops wire. Scissor-type blades are precision ground and heat treated to hold their edge. Highly visible AWG solid and AWG stranded wire guage sizes painted and embossed in the metal. 'Channellock Blue' comfort grips. Have been using this tool for few months now on 12AWG wire. A real treat to work with. Used all functions besides screw shear. Cutter more easily cuts 4 unsheathed 12AWG wires simultaneously than their larger pliers (but may not last as long). Also great for those tall people with a larger grip.
Only real downside is the retention clip sometimes comes undone in your pocket and springs apart, and the letter coloring could be changed to read easier.
