16', Articulating Ladder, 4' Section, Climbtek's Exclusion Patent License For Single Hand Operation, Offers Single Hand Release Rod Allowing For Easy Hinge Adjustment, Red Lock Bolt & Label Immediately Identify The Locked Or Unlocked Hinge Position, Release Rod Guard For Added Safety, Hinge Design Eliminates Potential Pinch Points When Opening & Closing Ladder.
ClimbTek's multipurpose ladder lets you customize it to the task. The ClimbTek articulating ladder quickly adjusts from stepladder to 16-foot extension ladder to stairwell ladder to scaffolding, making even difficult maintenance jobs, like changing hard-to-reach bulbs in stairwells, manageable. Folding sections create a sturdy work area on uneven surfaces such as stairs, low walls, or ledges. Strong locking hinges click in place, and a red hinge label tells at a glance whether or not joints are locked. The four-section ladder collapses for easy storage.

We received this ladder in record time and packaged well. We have a one story home and were able to do all the things around the house and on the roof you'd need a ladder for.
After reading and following the instructions, my husband found the ladder went into the different positions easily. He had to move the ladder into the positions while it was laying down because the ladder is to large to change while it is standing up.
I am looking forward to using it for painting the inside of our home. We decided on this ladder because of the optional platform and the other things available that make projects easier to do.
Finally, three of our old (and awful) ladders are in retirement.
