Tools and Hardware Reviews of ClimbTek CT416 Four-Section 300-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Articulating Ladder, 16-FootCustomer Review: Just right for all our ladder needs. Summary: 5 Stars
We received this ladder in record time and packaged well. We have a one story home and were able to do all the things around the house and on the roof you'd need a ladder for.
After reading and following the instructions, my husband found the ladder went into the different positions easily. He had to move the ladder into the positions while it was laying down because the ladder is to large to change while it is standing up.
I am looking forward to using it for painting the inside of our home. We decided on this ladder because of the optional platform and the other things available that make projects easier to do.
Finally, three of our old (and awful) ladders are in retirement.
Customer Review: WetterWashington reviews Summary: 5 Stars
The biggest thing this ladder has, is that it only takes two hands to fold it, not three like the designs sold at the Major Retail Outlets.
The Climb-Tek is built under license from Krause. Krause did NOT go out of business, they just stopped doing business in the USA, after losing a lawsuit, and not over this ladder. They are still the largest(?) ladder maker in Europe
Cimb-Tek does cost a LOT more then the old Krause, but I think it's worth it (I own both a Krause and a Climb-Tek).
The two combined make a great scaffold system.
Customer Review: great buy for the price and quality Summary: 5 Stars
I found out about this climbtek ladder while searching for articulating ladder when I was always finding werner brand. I weight 160 pounds and 5'9" tall and can carry the ladder in folded position just by one hand. Its easy to manage and work with. you can pull the lever by one hand and 'click' works fine. The square steps provides secure standing. The only problem is does not lock in folded/storage position but that's ok. and yes this is the 300# while the werner is only 250#strongly recommend to buy this if you can afford it.
Customer Review: Excellent Ladder Summary: 5 Stars
This ladder was everything I was looking for... folds down to a 4-foot tall ladder, so it fits in my townhouse in the city. Easily configures to accommodate different tasks/heights. It's sturdy and well constructed, and it isn't so heavy or cumbersome that I can't carry it to where I need it. That, plus, like the Little Giant, this product is Made in USA which matters to me, as I look to buy an American product if there is this option. The Werner ladder is made in Mexico.
Customer Review: Great Ladder Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the most useful ladders you could buy. It works great in straight or step-ladder posittion. It is light and easy to use. It is easy to set up. It stores in a closet. One of the best features I did not think I would use -- the scaffold position. I can set it up once and work on an entire wall. No getting up, down, moving ladder, and it is so stable!
I would recommend this ladder to anyone who needs a great ladder around the house!
