Tools and Hardware Reviews of Chalk Holder - Commando Blue Anodized Handle with Standard School Chalk (See Item 152-1234 for Chalk Holder with Bonus Protective Storage Tube)Customer Review: A great product Summary: 5 Stars
I had tried many chalk-holders before I bought this one. The problem with all of them was that they gripped the chalk using a spring mechanism. After a couple of weeks the spring would become slack and the chalk would slip into the tube as you wrote. Very annoying. This precision tool (it is finely made)uses a chuck nut to grip the chalk. You turn the nut to tighten it. So this holder works even with thinner and smoother types of chalk.
Customer Review: Wonderful product Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent chalk holder. After trying out three other types, this one was the best. Holds chalk securely - very quick and easy to release more chalk.
Comes with a clear container box - keeps your bag or pocket clean of chalk dust.
Gave them as gifts to my fellow instructors, they really enjoy them. Many have purchased extras for different colored chalk.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
This chalk holder is wonderful! I use it to hold a water soluable crayon that I use in my equine therapy business. The crayons are thin and fragile but this holder works perfectly. I tried some other holders that either broke fairly soon after buying them or the crayon was always slipping and I had to readjust it often which was frustrating. This holder is very well made and works great!
Customer Review: Much better than my other ones I've used Summary: 5 Stars
This is much better than the other chalk holders I have used. This has open end on top to be able to push chalk down as it is a good tight fit. Now if only someone could make a holder that will not break the chalk inside it when dropped!
Customer Review: It is okay Summary: 3 Stars
It does hold the chalk very securely, but the main problem is that when you need to push the chalk out again to be able to write so more you can't unless you have something to shove into the opposite end of the chalk holder. It grips the chalk and won't let go. It will not release no matter how much you shake or bang it.
