I am VERY pleased with this adjustable keyboard tray. It was easy to install and very sturdy. Great tray for a "corner desk", especially one that has a radius curve where the tray needs to travel further out for the tray corners to clear the desk surface. Once you've cleared the desktop surface, you can raise the tray and push it back in to hover over the desktop surface (if you want!). I suspect the "regular" version of this tray can't reach as far out to allow this type of desk clearance. I'm sure the quality is just as good though.
Don't let the "Sit or Stand" deter you from buying it. It can do anything the regular tray can do, but more -- if needed. And, apparently, is cheaper.
Given the price of other trays out there, this one is a steal!
The mouse tray is also very sturdy. Although you'll definitely want a mouse pad if you intend to tilt the tray so your mouse doesn't slide off. I've got the tray tilted toward me and with textured mouse pad my optical mouse doesn't move if I leave it there.
PROS:
- Strong, no vibration when typing
- Endless tray positions
- Waaaaay less expensive than other trays, but the quality is still excellent
CONS:
- Assembly instructions aren't the best, but all you really need is common sense
- Mouse pad won't fit under tray when mouse tray stored
OVERALL RECOMMENDATION:
- No brainer! Don't bother looking any further!!!
