The steamer works great just as a product like this should work, it does not have any fancy extras, but at the end it does what it has to do.
First RTFM, the usage and assembly is very simply but you will find really useful the tips in the manual both for steaming as for maintenance.
As same as it happens with a coffeemaker, the inside tubes will calcified, but is not a big deal, nothing that cannot be fixed by a combination of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water (do this as needed or at least once a month it all depends on the quality of the water being used).
The unit does not blows steam, it just flows slowly from the unit; so you'll have to move the head in circles slowly on your garment from bottom to top (otherwise you will BURN your hands, it is steam it is supposed to be HOT), also it works better against a flat surface like the wall, any way the pole that it comes with to hang your clothes is not long enough and remember that you cannot low the head of the steamer too much or you will BURN yourself, because of the condensated water that will come out, remember that you are supposed to hold the hose in a vertical position so the condensated water will return to the receptacle.
And last but not least be mediocre, don't even think about getting a 100% free wrinkle piece get to an 80% wrinkles free and leave it there, if you want 100% buy an iron and start developing your ironing skills.

My husband and I found ourselves needing to take down the wallpaper in our master bath in a quick time frame (so painters could come paint the bathroom - neither one of us is very good at the painting thing). I tried the sprays - homemade and professional - nothing touched the power of steam. All you need is a putty scraper with this and it comes off easily - yes, even on wallpaper that's been there years.
One of my favorite features of this steamer is the water container. I used another steamer in the past where you couldn't allow the water to drain out - created a MOLD problem. Not with this one - quick, easy fill, easy to drain.
As for steaming clothes, I've used it on a few dresses - my sister's wedding dress, and two bridesmaid dresses. DON'T steam bead work. Thankfully I knew this before I got started - it fogs up the beads. It definitely knocks out the wrinkles. Works well on pants, shirts, lingerie as well. Does it work crisp like an iron? No, but it's not supposed to. It gets plenty hot - even the hose can get hot at times. Are there better steamers out there? Probably, but this one suits my needs well.

I bought this steamer at a store for the same price Amazon was offering. Out of the box, assembly was a bit tricky as the poles were not labeled. Once I got it together and filled it with water, it was steaming like crazy! One downside is that the steamer head won't reach my valences without me putting the steamer on a raised platform (board placed on an ottoman), but for the most part, it does a decent job. For the price, it certainly creates good steam!Customer Review: I own it

I purchased this, because I hate ironing, its so much trouble, and I can never seem to get all the wrinkles out. This works great. It gets very hot though (the steam)so you have to be careful where you place your hands. It also starts to leak water so you have to hold it straight and let the water run back down the tube to the receptacle. Overall Ive been happy with this.
