I've always been a "kitchen counter walker" - place hands firmly on the kitchen counter and boost yourself up. Then stand and walk around to reach the top cabinet shelf - remember - always have one free hand to hold on". Every time my husband sees me do this, he's going to have "the big one". So, I have a Cosco 2 step upstairs in my closet (which really comes in handy - I use it daily - no counter to hop up on in the closet) and brought it downstairs to the kitchen for a try. OK, it worked. I purchased this 2nd Cosco for the kitchen - stores flat against the wall in the laundry room, is extremely light weight and sturdy. The frame color is darker than the picture more a silver grey. This is a good, safe purchase, at a very good price, with fast shipping. My husband is happy, I won't teeter off the countertop and I make him use it to change light bulbs instead of his trusty plastic crate. Old habits die hard.
