Tools and Hardware Reviews of Crawford-Lehigh RC40 40-Feet Retractable ClotheslineCustomer Review: I does it job and keep HOA's happy. Summary: 4 Stars
It seems to work well. I can hang about 2 medium size loads of laundry on it and since it is 1 line they get dry rather quickly in the Oklahoma heat. I though why pay for the energy of a dryer when it is 102 outside. Heavy wet towels do make the plastic line droop but a little tightening before the next load and it is good to go. I love that it hides away when you're done since I live in a HOA temporary ones are the only kind we can have in our yards. It does it job.
Customer Review: great clothesline Summary: 4 Stars
This order arrived promptly. Attachment to the house was simple, with 2 screws that were supplied. I like that it folds "flat" when not in use, but my favorite feature is that it has a "cleat" to wrap the line around so it will not pull out any further than you want it. The 40 foot length is perfect, giving me extra line if I need to wrap it around the tree.
Customer Review: so far so good Summary: 4 Stars
so far this product is working perfectly, i had seen some other reviews of clotheslines that made me worried. but this went up without any problem, and has held plenty of wet jeans, towels, and sheets with out any issues. the cleat on the bottom makes it easy to keep the line taut and my husband loves the ability to put it away when i'm done.
Customer Review: As Advertised Summary: 4 Stars
This item is light blue, not white as it appears in the image. No problem for me, since my house is light blue with white trim. The clothes line is heavy polyvinyl. It pulls out and retracts just fine. The clothes line container is a bit larger than expected. I'm happy. No problems. Works great in my backyard. I use my gas dryer less!
Customer Review: Sturdy, worth the money Summary: 4 Stars
A great clothesline. Very sturdy. Go to the hardware store and get some extra screws and an extra hook, and voila, you can use it outside in summer and move it into basement for winter. If you are drying a heavy load, you'll need to wrap the line around the bracket twice.
