While this is made entirely of plastic, it does exactly what I wanted. We use it in the basement where, during the winter, we dry all of the kids wet hats, mittens and gloves. Hanging from a bungee cord from the rafters, it is low enough for the boys (ages 9 and 11) to reach. After playing outside, they clip their wet gloves and hats to the rack, allowing them to dry. This works much better than the old method of carefully placing the wet gear around the basement on any surface they could fine. I am very pleased.
