Great product. Another reviewer had mentioned that you need to pull the line out all the way to get it taught. Just be sure to wrap the line around the little "cleat"/knob on the bottom of the unit and it will stay plenty tight even if it's not pulled out all the way. First time I've tried line drying my clothes. The effort was for energy savings. I just didn't want anything large or obtrusive in my yard so these were perfect. Now that we have used them for several weeks, we love them. Great product...easy to install and take down when not in use. We have a small laundry room, and certainly can't hang clothes outdoors in the winter here (at the end of Long Island). This was a great solution to the challenge of having unobtrusive air-drying capability for anything that couldn't go into the dryer, that could be easily put away when not needed.Customer Review: Large and in charge!

Very sturdy and not at all "cheap" feeling, will definitely do a more than sufficient job as a clothes line! I did not look at the dimensions when I purchased, and it is much larger than I thought it was going to be. Product arrived quickly and intact and was exactly what I wanted. Only wish the 'line' was cord instead of plastic so it wouldn't permanently dent when compressed. As long as it's durable, which it appears to be, the dents hopefully won't compromise the strength of the line.
