I have been using this for about 2 years at least a few times a week. It has held up well. It has a lot of wear but is still intact and has not come apart. I did break the handle a few months ago. It seems to pick up pet hair easily but Im sure any that are cloth on the bottom would. Overall, worth the low cost. Its nice because its sturdy yet comfortable and keeps the heat off the legs. I can use a mouse on the side with my 15" laptop, but no room with the 17" laptop.
