Tools and Hardware Reviews of Croscill Fabric Shower Curtain Liner, Linen

Customer Review: Couldn't be happier!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have gone through a lot of vinyl shower curtain liners in my life, and feel a bit badly about having contributed so much plastic to the landfills. They just don't stay clean-looking for very long--I've tried scrubbing them to little avail, even laundering one in the washing machine, which didn't work out well.

This is my first fabric liner, and I think it will last longer (and launder more easily) than a vinyl one. Even if it doesn't, the cost is hardly more than vinyl, but the fabric is much more attractive to look at--it's definitely nice enough to use on its own!

I'm quite pleased with this purchase and would recommend this product without reservation.

Customer Review: Far superior to a vinyl shower curtain
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these for my mom's 2 showers. We live where we have very hard water with lots of iron in it, and vinyl curtains seemed to always be streaked with mineral deposits. I always preferred a fabric shower curtain liner but had difficulty finding them. I put them up and they are really soft and silky, give excellent water repellency and best of all, they don't seem to attract the mineral deposits like the vinyl. Plus, these can easily go in the washer and dryer. I only wish these came in and extra-long length, as I need an 80" length shower curtain for my odd shower in one bath. I will buy more of these as I never want to use vinyl curtains again.

Customer Review: No more plastic!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have spent the first 36 years of my life showering with plastic liners. I'm not sure which disgusts me more, the smell of the new plastic or the mildew that follows soon after. It's about time I switched to fabric! I initially wanted an organic hemp liner, but they were all too expensive. This was the perfect alternative. My shower feels alot cleaner. I had no issues with the wrong number of curtain holes, or the way the curtain draped as some other reviewers mentioned. The neutral color is nice. After 1 month of daily use in a humid climate there is no sign of mold or mildew. I plan to wash it soon as a preventative measure. I am really pleased!

Customer Review: Goodbye Vinyl !!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the nicest shower curtain I ever owned. I have previously only had a fabric shower curtain liner whenever we stayed at a hotel, most of which seemed to envelope you while you were taking a shower. I was tired of replacing vinyl liners as my boys would rip the gromets right out of anything. This curtain stays right where it belongs and looks amazing, and my boys are in no way going to rip out the gromets. Super high quality in my opinion. You can see light thru it also so it isn't so dark in the shower. I will be purchasing another one for my downstairs basement when that gets remodeled.

Customer Review: Luxurious hotel quality shower liner
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a top quality shower liner. It's difficult to tell from the photos, but it has a vertical striped pattern (stripes are about 1.5" wide). I replaced a opaque glass shower enclosure with this liner and a curved shower rod. It looks just like a hotel. Yes, it's made from polyester, machine washable, and doesn't have that chemical smell typical of vinyl liners. Although I like that smell, it's likely not very good health-wise.

It is not 100% water proof, but does the job. It looks nice enough to use alone.
