I originally bought three of these for the ring-enclosure on a claw-footed tub, and have since moved, taking the curtains with me. We've used them every single day for the past 7 or 8 years, and I'm still on the first set. Yes, they eventually mildew -- I take them down every 2-3 months and wash with bleach. No damage, if I fill the machine first, add bleach, then toss in the curtains. Recently I started using a plastic clip to hold the curtain up while it dries -- if it air dries quickly instead of sticking to the side of the tub, I can go twice as long between washings.
I bought these because they're soft, sheer, and much more attractive than vinyl, but I never dreamed they'd last almost a decade. How much more can you ask of an inexpensive item??

I'm so glad I ignored the negative reviews here. This shower curtain ticks all the boxes:
- it's fabric with an attractive stripe design so it doesn't trap water or stick to you when you touch it
- strong steel eyelets
- weighted hems so it drapes nicely and doesn't billow
In response to the negative reviews here:
- if you have a problem with rust or mildew, don't complain about this product, ventilate your bathroom properly.
- I don't get water penetrating the fabric, but it will soak through. It's fabric, after all.

Awesome product! I have had this Croscill Curtain for a little more then 6 months now. I love taking a shower now. This curtain make's the ambience more pleasant. The curtain Quality is wonderful. I highly recommend this product. I wash this curtain every now and then and it comes out so fresh and clean looking each time. No issues whatsoever.
Best thing is it doesnt get all black with all that fungs on the bottom like the other plastic curtains. Highly recommeneded! (make sure you keep your bath tub clean though. This will not automatically clean it for you :)

I am very pleased with the quality of this fabric shower curtain liner. It looks nice and dries fast. No more plastic curtain sticking to my skin! I've had it for a couples months and there is no mold growth. I love it so much that I bought another one to have when this one finally wears out. Also, with all this talk about plastic/vinyl liners leaching cancerous toxins/fumes I figured it was time to get a fabric one. You could actually use this as a stand alone curtain - it looks that nice! VERY PLEASED!!! Plus, no more toxic fumes!!Customer Review: So Happy to Have a Plastic Alternative

I have to say that I'm confused by the bad reviews of this curtain. I can't even remember how long ago I bought these curtains (years ago) and they're still going strong. My grommets are not rusty and I haven't had any mildew. I probably wash them every two or three months and they've held up very well. I cut some length off of the bottom so they would fit inside my raised clawfoot tub and fall about halfway down the inside of the tub. Even with the unfinished bottom edge they've held up. I am verrrrrry happy not to use plastic anymore.
