Tools and Hardware Reviews of Croscill Fabric Shower Curtain Liner, WhiteCustomer Review: THE VERY BEST Summary: 5 Stars
I have four of these and love them. I do not use two curtains -- just this one). I actually ironed the pleats in so it hangs like a drape and when not using can be pushed back against the wall on the ouside of the tub -- very attractive. I've gotten so many comments on it. The ironed pleats have remained after many washings (cold water, bleach, hang to dry). The package said not to bleach but I use bleach every time I wash it (every few weeks). You will not be disappointed.
Customer Review: Functions well Summary: 5 Stars
This shower curtain is a lighter material than the heavy plastic ones and does just as good of a job repelling water and keeping it in the tub. I will say this looks a little hotel-like. It is white color, but lets the light through just enough. I've had it for probably 1-1.5 years and just now is the bottom of it starting to get some brown on it, so i started moving the liner outside of the tub when its not in use to allow it to air dry free of contact with the tub.
Customer Review: Mildew Solver! Summary: 5 Stars
No matter what we tried, our nylon shower curtain got moldy. Whichever side of it rested against the tub never dried completely. A fabric curtain changed that. The nylon (decorative) curtain stays on the outside of the tub, and the fabric one on the inside. The fabric curtain dries fine, and it's washable, so it's easy maintenance. This one is even nice enough to work as the one and only curtain on your shower.
Customer Review: Fabric Shower Curtain Summary: 5 Stars
I quit using vinyl shower curtain liners years ago to eliminate the harmful VOCs they give off and switched to fabric liners which are so much nicer.
They do discolor after a year or so because of our hard water, but they will look better longer if tossed in the washer with a load of towels every few weeks.
When they no longer look nice, I recycle by using them as drop cloths for painting.
Customer Review: If you dislike plastic liners, this is a perfect alternative Summary: 5 Stars
I no longer buy plastic shower curtain liners due to the outgassing odors that the new shower curtains emit. The smell is so strong and toxic it makes me ill. So now I only buy the fabric liners which do a decent job of keeping shower droplets/spray in. My last liner bit the dust so this one was an excellent replacement for an excellent price ($11) with free shipping and no tax. I highly recommend.
