It is SO nice to be able to bathe in clean, filtered water! No chlorine fumes, water feels soft, skin feels better. I have had NO issues with backflow. I also don't turn my faucet on quite full blast, but an extra 2 minutes is totally worth it to me. Maybe if you have heavy mineral deposits the filter might clog faster, but that sounds like a much larger problem, then. Another reviewer wanted to challenge the filtration claims, and they make water testing kits for that. I can tell from the distinct lack of chlorine smell and the way it feels that it's working fine, and that's what I want. Works great for me! Will never be without one again!
