I've had this shower filter for a few days now, after getting the idea that my continuous problem with rashes on my hands, arms, shoulders, etc. might be due to the chemically treated water in my town. I definitely made the right choice, as the irritation I was experiencing before was completely overcome by this filter! I haven't used it long enough to see if the water will have an effect on my dry hair and occasionally zitty complexion, but I'm optimistic.Customer Review: Much less trouble with dry skin this winter

Normally my knuckles would be dry and cracked after a brutal winter like this not-quite-over one here in Michigan (global warming, ha!) but after several months of using this Culligan shower filter the skin on my hands is in great shape. It doesn't eliminate dry skin but it greatly reduced it. I can smell the chlorine in untreated tap water but not from Culligan filtered water. I bought a Culligan kitchen faucet filter as well.Customer Review: Above expectations

I bought several of these. One for my daughter who has the skunk odor in her system. That made a huge difference in that. My friend came to visit me from Ohio and I had installed one in my bathroom. I already have soft water. She commented on how soft it made her skin feel. She like it so much, she bought one for her son for Christmas. This product works great. I used to have the left and right sides of my nose and under my eyes and the palms of my hands super dry when I finished taking a shower but now with this showerhead filter my face is actually still soft and plyable. No dry cracked skin anymore!
Man, I can only wonder how many chemicals I was literally showering myself in before I installed this showerhead filter!

This product is very reliable and does everything that it promises. We have very hard water in San Diego and my hair had to bear the brunt of it. But once I started using this filter , my hair is getting back to normal , no more dry and frizzy hair. My hair loss issues have also stopped. This even increased the flow of water than my previous old shower head. Definitely recommend this item.
