Super bright LED (22,000 mcd !!!) keychain flashlight with high impact White plastic casing and white light. Uses 2 lithium batteries (CR2016) included. Works great as a small flashlight to carry with you everywhere. This small bright light easily attaches to your key chain with the attached key ring to make it easily accessible when you are trying to unlock the door in the dark. Works great for finding other things in the dark as well. Attach it inside your tent for a small high powered light when you are camping or use it to find the bathroom in the middle of the night. Great for automotive workers to shine down in the engine to see what they are working on under the hood or under the vehicle. Surprisingly bright, very affordable (even with the shipping charge), terrifically handy mini-lights. I'm wondering how I got along all this time without one of these on my keychain, where it is small enough that you hardly know it is there.
But why ten lights? Who has ten keychains? Not my house. But I suspect that most folks do not carry keychains constantly, particularly when at home, as we do not. Thus these lights are useful stowed any place around the property where we might sometime need a light but are probably not carrying. Their small size and small price makes it easy to pre-position them in any number of strategic places, something not very practical with larger and more expensive lights. Say, for example, stowed in your nightstand drawer to replace that clunky flashlight that was in there, and now the flashlight can be stowed somewhere more out of the way until you really need that bigger light. Hanging from a cup hook on the wall inside that unlit closet. Inside the door of that outbuilding where the overhead lights take a few minutes to warm up. but you're just running in to grab something. Etc.
Also useful on camping trips, particularly as an almost weightless backup light or two in your backpacking gear. And a great stocking-stuffer.
Can't speak to longevity as I haven't had them all that long. They certainly aren't heavy duty tools, but then again they aren't supposed to be and they aren't likely to get heavy duty use - for that you get out your bigger, more serious lights. And anyway, at this price they don't have to last forever to be a bargain.
