Customer Review: Hands down bar none best ever
Summary: 5 Stars

I placed the gel in the same place I always see ants. This day I only saw about ten marching up the house where they always come in. Within ten minutes of placing the gel the whole wall became covered in ants, hundreds more of them came for the feast. It was like thanksgiving for them, feasting on the gel. I watched with joy knowing it was thier "last supper".
Next day I saw about 20, most dead or acting "drunk". The few that were OK were busy running toward thier "feast" (the gel). Day after that, 36 hours later, nothing but dead ants. Two weeks later, not one dam ant in my house and none seen climbing the wall.
Yes, I was a bit tired of the ants, the smelly sprays, and those boring bate stations (which I have used in past with some results).
Why WAIT for results? I am amazed that this stuff was so irresistable for them. This stuff is like ant candy, and we all know how ants swarm around a piece of candy. 24-36 hours wipes out the entire colony. I am sure one day they will return, I bought another tube just to keep as a spare. I hate to admit, I enjoyed the "show", and look forward to the next one.
No odor, no mess, easy & way more effective then any other product I have ever bought.

Customer Review: you gotta understand ants before you use this-but it's great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm looking on Amazon because I can't find this in stores anymore. Glad to find it here.

It works like nothing else. Every year we'd get 3 kinds of ant invasions- small red, small black and large black. I'd spend weeks of frustration fighting them. Heard about this stuff and now I don't even care if ants appear because it's soooo easy to get rid of them in one day with this gel. The trick is you have to put it exactly where the ants are walking or they won't find it. I didn't know before that scout ants leave a trail that the savenger ants then follow. It's amazing to watch if you have the time. You have to put the gel on this trail. Of course, it's very poisonous so you also have to use only a tiny bit at a time and pick a place where NO ONE will touch it. I clear off the kitchen counter, put a spot EXACTLY where I've seen an ant, then use a washable marker to put a huge arrow and write "POISON!". If I have to put it on the floor,I put a heavy object over it and leave a sign on top. You have to be patient and don't kill the scavenger ants when they appear. They'll eat it for a few hours-add more if you need to- then you'll never see that type of ant again 'til next year's invasion.

Customer Review: Ants Love It!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best stuff on the market, bar none. It works better than the product provided by our commercial pest control company. The clear gel comes in an injector so it is easy to control where and how much.

We, along with all our neighbors, get ants during the first really hot spell of summer. Millions and millions of ants find their way into the house in the oddest of places, tracking through hallways, bedrooms, and closets as well as finding their way to the kitchen. We put down a glop of Combat Ant Gel at the trail near the point of entrance, mop up all ants who have already trekked beyond the glop, and let the remaining ants call all their brothers to the feast. They swarm the glop and take it back to their nest, feed it to the queen, and Voila! The colony is wiped out. It works outdoors, too. I put it on the fence rail and on trees whenever and wherever I find ants.

Usually they feed for only one day and are gone within 24 hours. Refresh the glop if necessary, because you don't want them to run out of food and go looking again. No muss, no fuss, no stinky sprays. Any left-over gel on floors or counters is easy to clean up with a moist paper towel.

Customer Review: Works fast
Summary: 5 Stars

I moved into a new apartment and discovered an ant problem, and although I saw them in the kitchen, bathroom and living room, most were in the bedroom. I removed as much stuff off the floors as I could so I could watch them and try to figure out where they were entering from, which was under a wall in the bedroom. At about 6pm I placed some gel near the crack in the wall and soon after, dozens of ants came out of the wall to eat the gel. It was tempting to kill them, but I resisted because I wanted the ants to take the gel back to feed the queen. I also placed gel in other places that I saw ants, such as the kitchen, but they had absolutely no interest in the gel in any location other by the bedroom wall where they were entering. They seem to only like to eat as a group. At 1am there were still a bunch of ants eating gel and I saw no dead ants so I wasn't sure if it was working. However, when I woke up in the morning, there were no ants to be found anywhere (dead or alive). They appeared to have gone back under the wall to die, so nothing to clean up except a little leftover gel. This gel is amazing! And you only need a small amount.

Customer Review: Works great on black, sweet-eating ants
Summary: 5 Stars

We get ants twice a year, in winter when it's cold and rainy (in California) and again in summer when the sun parches the yard. Trails of small black ants are soon marching through the kitchen, bedrooms, across the carpets and ceilings, even up thru the slab foundation to the bathroom in the middle of the house. Caulking and spackling the cracks and gaps helps some but they always find a new route. Some of the other controls like RAID work immediately but we don't like to use sprays inside, and it only lasts a day or so (Windex with ammonia does just as good for immediate cleanup).

So out comes the gel. We put about dozen drops along the trail and near the entry point, and keep refreshing for a day or so.

Is it diabolical to take joy in seeing rings of ants greedily pack shoulder to shoulder consuming the gel drops? Regardless, they start immediately, take it back to the nest, and within a day are no more.

Be prepared. Be hospitable. They're already inside so welcome them kindly and serve the gel. And, easy now, keep your joy in check.
