I've tried so many different ant killer and this one works like no other will.
They devour this gel like they haven't eaten for years... then magically they start to gradually disappear.
I have a dog, two cats, and two kids so it worried me to just squirt it on the ground or in a crevice where my dog could lick it so I found a small shoe box and cut a hole on each side to let the ants in and out of, taped the top down. Because they love this stuff so much it didn't take long for them to figure out where the 'good' stuff was.
The shoe box wasn't a deterrent for them at all and I felt better knowing that the gel was safe from little hands and paws.

This stuff worked beautifully last year, but I haven't been able to find it in any stores at all this year. I glopped it around where the ants were getting in, and next thing I knew they were all over it. In about 3 days, there wasn't a sign of a living ant anywhere. This year they're back, and I've bought a variety of bait traps and even some some gel from another company, and the ants avoid them. I even put the other brand gel in a line across behind the kitchen sink, but they go all the way down to the end of the line to go around. Combat's ant gel is by far THE BEST on the market.Customer Review: Works for Carpenter Ants

I had a problem with Carpenter Ants in my bathroom. They came and went through a tiny hole in the crown molding. I placed the gel in several bottle caps near their paths and within a day there was no longer any sign of the ants. I did a little research and everyone says to make sure that you don't disturb the nest or the ants will simply relocate. Spread the gel and wait - it works.Customer Review: Ants do eat this.

I had tried some different brand products, like TERRO, ORTHO, HOT SHOT, COMBAT Ant Control Bait, and this COMBAT Ant Killing gel.
Only this one really works.
The others are useless.
Ants don't even take a bit.
But ants like COMBAT gel very much.(At least the ants in my house.)
Strongly recommand!

Usually this product comes out as a "GEL" but my first package I used was a waterey. Regardless, the ants loved it and it still worked as long as it was applied on a horizontal plain. It could not be used vertically as it would run all over and not buildup as a "GEL" would.
