These devices allow you to remotely control a lamp. Now instead of having to wander round the room turning lights on I just flick the room switch and every lamp comes on together. No setup hassles, just press a switch on this device then hold the light switch for 10 seconds and the two are linked together. No addressing, no reliability issues, it just works. So much better than X10.

Got it today and went right into the bedroom and plugged one bedside lamp to one and then other light into #2 and plugged into another wall plug and hit the remote and BAM, done. I love it. Before this we had lamps with the switch way at the top of the tall lamps. now it will be fabulous to just push the remote! The seller is great, I received this in just a day it seems like.Customer Review: Awesome!

They arrived very quickly and are perfect for lazy folks like me. I recommend keeping the remote in the same place all the time - you'll never want to turn anything on/off the regular way again!
I plugged my christmas houses into an extension cord and then plugged the extension cord into on of the outlets so that all house work on one switch. It is awesome!

I got this for my partially disabled father and it makes his life so much easier.. He has a hard time getting around so a remote for the outlets makes his day go a lot smoother.
