I purchased this nutcracker for my brother who lives in Tennessee and has three pecan trees on his property. He has been using the old standard pinch type nutcracker that you hold in one hand. He loves his new Duke 0100 nutcracker as I knew he would. I have one that is over 25 years old and I still use it frequently. These things will last a lifetime.Customer Review: Even cracks hazelnuts

I bought this because the nuts keep slipping out of my hand held nutcracker and kept pinching my fingers. My husband loves hazelnuts but has a hard time craking the shell with the hand held nutcraker so he started using his teeth. This is wonderful. We recently bought a home with several walnut trees that had not been taken care of so the nuts are all different sizes, and this cracker adjusts easily. Great price! Great cracker. If you have any amount of nuts to crack, you should not be without this. Of course it's much cheaper to crack your own and if you have a pecan tree, it's a must have. Shipping time was much better than other products that I bought here.Customer Review: excellent
