This is a great product, I got this light for my mother after she tripped and fell over her black dog in the basement due to lack of light. The light never completely shuts off, it keeps 1 or 2 LEDs lit at all times, it turns on all 15 LEDs when it senses motion. Its motion sensor is very sensitive and works at 8+ feet, it stays brightly lit for ~2 minutes. It is very bright and provides low light for almost the entire basement. It does not turn on if there is ambient light. There is an adjustable mirror on top of the unit to direct the light. It can be hung upside down to minimize LED light strain on your eyes, and it leaves the other outlet free. Highly recommend!
