I had came across this idea for a gift while looking for something else. The idea was a good one. The very senior parents who go day to day, most without ever leaving home. They don't do fancy tech gadgets.
Calendars are great, if you can remember what day it is, but there was the problem. I had it delivered direct before Christmas 2008 and hoped the quality was good.
The initial reaction from the folks was..Ok, nice, strange, but ...we will find a place for it... (you know, folks that have everything). My husband put it in their kitchen when we got there for New Years. Now we are always told how wonderful it is and how they rely on it to know what day it is, especially Sunday.
I was very pleased with the quality. Very nice. When I have a need, I hope I can get one for myself...
