Tools and Hardware Reviews of DeLonghi TRH0715 Oil Filled Radiator HeaterCustomer Review: Excellent addition to central heat system Summary: 5 Stars
My wife and I live in a 3bdrm 2bath home in northeast GA with a central heating unit. We purchased this unit because natural gas is very expensive because of deregulation. We placed it in our study, where we both spend a lot of time, and closed the heating vents. The unit heats up this 10 x 20 room on its own. It is difficult to measure the savings because the price of natural gas is going down, but I believe that our overall savings will make the purchase of the unit worth the expense, especially over time.
Customer Review: great little space heater at a great price Summary: 5 Stars
I paid $15-20 more for this heater, so when my other one started making strange noises, I was glad to replace it at Amazon's place. Not really enough to fully heat a room, it's more of an auxiliary heater, drafty places that need extra warmth. I put it near my desk so that I am toast when I write. Very cheap to operate and great on cool morns when you don't really want a heater, but something to break the chill. Can adjust from 600 BTU-1500, without all the worry that electric heaters always give me.
Customer Review: Portable radiators for comfort and efficiency Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased two portable oil filled radiators as a member of my family used two last year to warm rooms without warming the whole house. Even with high electrical rates (150% the national average), the cost of radiant electric heat equals the heat of $4.00/gal heating oil. Thus, as the cost of oil remains over $4/gal this makes the electric heat more economical and efficient.
The radiators arived in perfect, new condition and work as advertised. I'm very pleased with them.
Customer Review: Great product. Everything you need from a heater. Summary: 5 Stars
I have tried it in my bedroom and it is a very good heater as it does what it's supposed to. Very quiet I forget it's even there (compared to my older heater). I have kids in the house and what I was worried about was that they would get burnt by it. The heater is hot (also depends on your heat settings) but it is the type of heat that you have to leave your hand there for a couple seconds before you feel a burn. Highly recommended to anyone looking to replace or buy a new heater.
Customer Review: Works well Summary: 5 Stars
We've had this for about a week. It does a great job of keeping my daughter's 12x12 foot room warm all night when on low setting (700 watts) and about half on the thermostat setting. We left it on full blast in the garage for three hours when we first got it, and it definitely gave off an oil smell. We moved it to the bedroom after that & no smell at all. It does get a little hot to touch, so not for use around small kids, nor can you put it against draperies or furniture.
