I work night shift and the area is work at gets quite chilly at night. one of my co-workers had this heater and let me borrow it. I was so impressed on how well it worked and warmed up the area I work in that I came home and got on-line and ordered one. One of my other co-workers were so impressed with it that she ordered one also. This heater needs no start up time to start producing warm air. I love the feature that if it tips over or it something gets in the the way of the air flow that it automatically shuts off. This heater is a great deal for the price. I am going to order another one for my daughters dorm room.Customer Review: Cold office, warm hands

I love this heater. It's extremely quiet. It has to be, since it sits on my desk facing the left side of my keyboard, keeping my hands nice and warm.
I work in an office that has polar temperatures in the summertime. Before I bought this heater, my hands would literally become numb from the cold. Now, soothing warm air flows over my hands, keeping them comfortable. And the gentle heat (it CAN get very warmm if you turn it up) also helps to keep the aches and pains, of typing all day, at bay.
Heartily reccommended. Not for large space areas, but it works wonders on my desk!

DeLonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater - excellent purchase. Works great. Does exactly what the advertisement said it would. Works off of a pretty accurate thermostat for a little space heater. Keeps the temperature just right. Completely safe, no parts inside that light up. This is the only type of space heater that we consider safe. Does not get hot on the outside. No parts to burn yourself on. We plan on purchasing a couple of more of the same safe heaters for our other rooms.

I absolutely love this thing. My feet used to freeze every day at work, since we have a cold draft along the floor. Now I put this heater under my desk and all my cold symptoms went away. The automatic on/off is great, once i set the right setting, i no longer have to worry about controlling it, as it maintains a fairly constant temperature.
One warning - when I plugged it in at my apartment, and put on HIGH, all the lights got slightly dimmer, which I don't think is a good sign. But at work the electric wiring must be much better.

The Delonghi DFH132 Safeheat is a small heater which can be used as a fan only (heat dial on zero), minimum heat (heat dial = 1) and maximum heat (heat dial = 2). The other dial is the thermostat.
I just got 2 of these heaters and do not foresee needing to play much with the 2 dials. Thus I hope the dials will outlast the heater. In winter time set heat dial = 2. You figure out the comfortable thermostat setting for the specific room and leave it at that setting. The fan noise is of normal intensity.
