I own 3 of these heaters, one of which I use at night in my bedroom. Noise is minimal with the fan on and you have the option to shut it off (which I've never done). No strange odors, no problems whatsoever. I would buy these heaters again. The room heats up quickly and quietly. I also like the safety switch which automatically shuts off the heater if it even tilts let alone falls over. The quality is great and they are dependable, I've had mine over a year, lots of use and never a problem. The outside of the heater is hot but you can touch it and not be burned. The hot air coming from the vent is hotter than the case. I have 5 kids of varying ages and I feel completely safe using these heaters around them.Customer Review: Small Dinomo

looking good,like durable. but fan noise can't accept. I couldn't sleep well at night with this. So I always don't use fan.
Most problem is some burning smell occured. That gives me headache, eye problem, nose problem. I waited that smells gone several weeks. but still.
I don't know where that bad smell come from, whY..
So, Finally I deceided return..
I used marvin 5000 8years. low noise fan -good. Quartz style. I was very stisfied.
So, I'd like to buy same one, but unfournately, no further product.
I don't know why no more.. They are stupid I think. Why they stop making good one. they made new one, but so loud fan noise. I returened immediately..

The product actually arrived defective from the moment I tried it. The fan didn't operate. I called the vendor who said that for the first 30 days I'd need to return it to where I purchased it for service. I tried to explain that it was an on-line purchase and there wasn't a vendor who would service it per-se, but DeLonghi wouldn't help. As I'd have to pay for the return shipping and somehow extract a refund out of Amazon, this would make the unit suddenly rather EXPENSIVE, and it's not worth it. I can use it without the fan I suppose...
