This is the best heater I've ever used. It makes almost no noise: just a small click when it cycles on and off every so often. It keeps my large bedroom nice and toasty without drying out the air the way a fan heater might, and without any smell (namely that ozone smell some electric heaters give off). I was initially worried about how hot the fins would get, but even on the highest setting I can rest my feet on them for a couple seconds without harm. In my experience, electric heaters can't be left on overnight: they either overheat and turn themselves off and on, turn your room into a sauna, or both. With this heater, I can turn it on when I get home and leave it on all afternoon, night, and morning until I leave again; sometimes I even forget it's on.Customer Review: DeLonghi - Great product, Great price, Great performance

This is my 2nd Delonghi heater, the previous heater lasted over 15 years. I especially like the tradition with this product for solid construction, absolutely quiet operation at any temperature, and efficient radiant heat that easily adjusts to changing weather conditions. It is really practical to have the ComforTemp energy efficient feature with this new generation unit as well as the manual heating option. The unit is used in a small home add-on office (20X10) that is subject to harsh winds from the west (Maryland cold and damp weather). With the DeLonghi, the room is always comfortable. This was my 1st order from Amazon, I am so glad this quality product was offered. It was a great price, the service and delivery exceeded my expectations.Customer Review: Best heater around

I tried many heaters, like ceramic with fan, ceramic without fan and this one turned out to be the best. The heaters with fan make lots of noise and its difficult to sleep.
Also the ceramic heaters tend to burn oxygen in air because of very hot coil making you feel sick. On top of it, small ceramic heaters cause uneven heating making you feel even more sick.
DeLonghi EW7707CM heater has none of these problems. Because of its large size it can evenly heat the room. Its fins are not very hot so do not burn the air. We received it in 2 days. After using it in our 10x10 bedroom, we feel very cozy and we can sleep very well. Also this is very good looking heater. You can spend more money one time but you wont regret it.

I purchased this heater to supplement a new bathroom built onto my home. The room is 16' x 21'and I was skeptical that it would be warm this winter, but with this heater I no longer have that concern. It keeps this room very cozy; in fact when I first started to use it I set the Comfortemp setting and quickly realized that was just too warm. I now use just the thermostat and it keeps this room nice and toasty. There are conventional heating vents from the furnace but something extra was needed because of the size. This heater comes with a terrific price tag and I like the fact that it does not get hot on the outside so as to cause burns if touched. I recommend this if you are looking for a smaller, but functional and inexpensive heater.Customer Review: Works as advertised

Bought it to heat up my toddler's room as he hates the idea of blankets -- and the budget can't stand the idea of heating the entire house to fulfill his desire to sleep blanket-less. While the Chicago-area fall has been relatively mild, even on nights into the 30's, the minimum setting using the "comfort" control has worked brilliantly.
While the heat's not immediate, this is a function of the type of heater -- radiant heat, not the fault of the unit. I'd rather have a radiant heat unit, than risk having my son stick something into a fan unit.
Net net, my son's no longer cold. The budget's happy that I'm not heating the entire house to ridiculous levels. Therefore, I'm very pleased that I bought it.
