Customer Review: Probably your best choice for a bedrom

Had it for over a year now, no problems. It is attached to the wall. It is one of the few heaters that does not produce any visible light, important for a bedroom. Quiet also.
The only thing that heats faster are the quartz heaters, but having the bright red glow going on and off all night is probably not going to work for most people. So this is clearly the best choice for a bedroom. We run ours at low (750 watt) because it is a small bedroom and it just seems safer to have it on low. Saves a lot of money, we turn the furnace down to 45 F at night and are plenty warm while we sleep.
I'm sure it would be great for other rooms, though a quartz would heat up a bit faster.

I love this heater for my small bedroom (approx 10 x 10). Keeps the room warm at night in a house that is uninsulated, with nights down to into the '20s outside. It does not work as well in the larger rooms, unless you are directly in front of it (since it is radiant). It is great that it can be wall mounted, keeps the heat focussed at the height you want it at. There are two settings and 6 temperatures. If my wiring could tolerate the 2nd, more powerful setting it would probably work better, but the circuit breaker shuts it all off anytime I use that setting.
Update: I've had this for 2 years now and it's still going. I use it every night in winter.
Customer Review: How to remove the lame sticker on an otherwise great product

Many other people have already said how neat this product is. I'll second that. Fantastic! The sticker on the front that says 'Remove Before Use' that is near impossible to remove should be made of a different material, yes. However, rather than use solvents or razor blades to remove it, heat the sticker up with a hair dryer or other direct applied heat. Then, gently pull while still applying heat. (Your fingers will get toasty) Use a credit card as a wedge/scraper to help prevent any residue. Just gently push the edge of the card into the space between the sticker and the heater surface as you pull. It works perfectly. I use this heater in an unheated screen porch where my dogs sleep. Storm windows keep the wind out, but It was still too cold for the dogs. This heater is great if you're concerned about "dog proofing". It was mounted to the wall and I covered the cord with wooden trim along the baseboard, preventing cord chewing. It heats the 12' by 15' room to a nice 70 degrees, even though the walls are not insulated. Oklahoma has fairly mild winters, rarely getting below 20 degrees, or so. I can't say how the heater would work in this application if you have harsh winters, but for keeping an unheated, small room warm in a mild climate, its great.Customer Review: Great Heater

Having retired a Pelonis Oil filled radiator heater this past spring due to bad switches, we considered a micathermic heater from Soleus. It had mixed reviews. We decided to try this DeLonghi and after this first week we are more than satisfied with it. The heat begins immediately. We keep it on a lower setting (1 '750w'/ 2 or 3 thermostat) and our small living room is more comfortable than we imagined possible. It is very light and rolls easily. The only assembly is one screw in each floor roller mechanism. The only issue was that the first heating created some outgassing from the materials. It has no odor at all now.
