We bought two of these little workhorses and love them! We keep them on high and the thermostat on med-high at all times. We live in Northern MI and our furnace doesn't come on so our gas bill will be lower this month and our electricity bill only went up $40! We have a small 1100 sq ft house and keep the heaters in our living room and dining/kitchen area during the day and then point one down the hall during the night. They are quiet and they work better than the ones with a fan! We're going to buy one more for the bedroom areas. We have the first two on the rollers and plan to mount the new one on the wall.Customer Review: great heater

I wish I had purchased this heater earlier. When my baby boy was worn three years ago, I used a classic ceramic room heater which was noisy and bright. It would wake him up and wake us up went it went on in the middle of the night. I researched oil-filled heaters from DeLonghi, but I ultimately settled on this Mica Panel heater, and I have been very happy. It is quiet and makes no noise. Hence, you can sleep through the night with it on. It generates no light, and thus it does not distract you either. I think it is a great product. I bought two, and am thinking about buying another.

I was amazed at how quiet and quickly it heats a room. I orginally purchased this for my bathroom since it is rated for that use. It was larger than I could accomodate to wall hang, so I put the wheels on and used it in my bedoom in order to lower the central heat at night. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it and my cats lay next to it without my fear of them getting burned. I do agree a temperature setting would be nice, but once you are at a comfortable level, simply adjust the dial and it keeps the room temperature stable. I bought this brand and type of 'space heater' based on a Consumer Reports recommendation. It performs even better than I expected. The room where it is used most is 14x18 (wide open walkway into room)with a large adjoining bathroom. This heater keeps the entire area very comfortable (overnight temps in the low 30's) for pennies. It has all the safety features I required and is so quiet you don't know it is on. It is very lightweight and extremely easy to move or can be mounted on a wall. I have never used this type of heater, am thrilled it lived up to and exceeded expectations.Customer Review: Home heater

We use this wonderful heater in our 24' X 10' sunroom which has 3 glass walls. We tried and returned serveral other heaters before finding this one meets all our requirements. The heater warms up quickly and enables us to keep the room comfortable even when the temperature outside is in the 20s. Have not yet experienced temperature in the teens or less, but I would bet it would still be comfortable. Best of all we have it connected to a timer which automatically goes on at night to keep the temperature above freezing so the numerous plants we have in the room do not freeze.
