After researching similar products, I bought this based on price. I found it to be very useful when using it to get the angle needed to finish my stairs. The laser could have a better magnet (tended to fall off). The only drawback I see after using it (compared to the $200 + models)is that you have to read the digital readout and keep it, because the "arm" will not stay open (screw won't tighten). It needs to have a better way to "hold" the angle. But, great product for the cost!!Customer Review: Another piece of junk from far far away.

Really disappointed with this product. It will NOT zero using the manufacturer's instructions and is so big it is awkward to use. Of course "14 inch" is in the name of the product so I should have noticed that. I thought the name 'Denali' meant quality, but not so in this case.
