I ordered this as a supplement to our heating system for cold days, which we get plenty of in upstate NY. I love it! It's so relaxing to look at, and gives out a good amount of heat! It's completely assembled out of the box. I purchased it at the beginning of February, and here it is the end of March and it's been on daily. Now that it's not quite so cold, it's the only heating source we are using!Customer Review: great product, great price

I purchased this heater for my sunroom. I love it. After reading some of the reviews I was expecting to be a little disappointed. However, the fire does look real ( unless you are right on it, staring). It provides an excellent source of heat. i've had this for a couple of weeks and i love it! it is small but attractive. the heat works quietly and nicely. i find myself leaving the flames on all the time even without the heat. i love not having to worry about the kids burning themselves. i had an electric fireplace growing up and they have come a long way in how realistic the flames and embers look. i want a larger one with a mantle now.Customer Review: a gift

This item is a great alternative to messy fireplace candles in a faux insert. I measured my fireplace insert and decided to go with this little stove-type instead of just the plain electric logs. This fit in beautifully and adds such ambience to the fireplace and room. I highly recommend it. The low and high heat feature is a bonus, especially if your furnace is on the fritz !!!!
