I love this little stove. I have a fireplace in a small condo and I place it in front of fireplace in the whole of the fireplace. It looks so real and now I will never have to have another fire or have to clean a fireplace or smell it again. Nor will I ever purchase wood or presto logs or pollute the air outside. I bought two of these in October '09 and they work great! You won't be disappointed - the unit cranks out heat like you won't believe, warming up the chilliest of rooms in no time. I purchased this heater in March 2010. It has performed beyond my expectations. It completely heats my living room and hallway. During the week of Christmas 2010, the flame quit and that is very distressing as I really did enjoy the flames. We bought this for my 83 year old mother for Christmas. We thought it would be sort of kitschy but could not think of anything else to buy her. She absolutely loved it and to our surprise so did we! It is very cozy to sit in front of and is perfect for giving a room some warmth in both feeling and atmosphere.
