Customer Review: Awesome Heater! Very Toasty! Open Sesame, Alakazam!!

I live in a place where I pay for my own heat, everything....and yet I get no heat or airconditioning, which BTW are supposed to be centrally controlled. Yes, I got all the high bills- but I never got to enjoy any heat, etc. regardless of paying the bills month after month. I would turn the heat on for hours- it would blow air for a minute, then nothing for another 40 minutes while I am suffering! PSE&G said what I am experiencing is the energy running, but nothing coming out to give comfort from the winter and summer weather...duh! And the Super comes only when the place is about to be destroyed by natural disaster. So if you live in a place where you are tired of complaining about lack of heat, there are plenty of vacant apartments because of the recession- you could afford an even better apartment where the value of a renter's on time rent payment is at a premium.
Or, if you are not ready to move just yet, do what I did and get this heater. You come out from the cold, plug it in, and click the remote and within seconds, your feet are so toasty it brings a big 'ol smile on your face. It's like BAM! The heat is on and doing what it's supposed to do. I did research for over a year before I found this heater that satisfies all of my wants. Even though I could leave it plugged in because of the safety mechanism, I choose to turn everything off except for my refrigerator and microwave. I am watching my PSE&G bill like a hawk.
This place could not have a landline installed either- something about wires cut from the road- what a gem of a place heh? But in the process I am saving money in the longrun: while you are at it, get magicjack to save on phone bills. I am a big fan now. If you have problems, let me know and I can help- I already went through the days of figuring out the kinks- just buy a new phone and it works like magic. Energy and phone bills can castrate anyone if they total $600 or more per month!
If you have a mansion or a house, buy a couple of these heaters and place them where you or the family frequents- the living room, the study, etc. I hear the larger one is better. Oh well, this mid-sized one warms 5 rooms just fine. I place mine in the living room, so naturally it's the one spot that is the warmest.
URGENT:
Please do not try to extend the cord. I plugged it in all day into one, which then plugged into the wall, and the extension cord plastic started melting where the heater plug connects to the extension cord. I wish this heater had a longer extension cord so I didn't have to try that, and so I would be able to sit at any couch and feel the direct heat. At this time, I have to stand or sit directly in front of the heater to get the full strength of its awesome heat. Some reviewers didn't like the short cord either.
I recommend it to customers when I visit their home doing their track hair extensions, etc. Sometimes it is so chilly we are almost frozen. I tell them that if they had this heater, they would not have to heat the whole house just to get a little bit of heat where we are. It makes sense! But...if you do hair too...tell them this AFTER you're finished with their hair otherwise you will be freezing too. I do understand however, that the recession plus high energy bills is causing everyone to take strategies to decrease their bills! I am too! I have now (with the help of PSE&G) learnt where the circuit breaker is- during the Summer, instead of cool air, it was blowing hot air- in 90degree weather! The only thing I am using is this heater. IF THEY ONLY HAD SOMETHING TO COOL FOR THE SUMMER TOO, I WOULD BE IN APPLIANCE HEAVEN!
I love the fact that I can use the top of it to place a cup of tea, or objects on it- the outside structure belies what is inside, there is a heater- I love it!
Also, it is such a conversational piece you can be proud of- no need to say anything, visitors make the comments for you! Other reviewers raved about this feature too, and more. Just looking at it invokes warmth, and brings out all your inner loveliness- peace, tranquility, joy, serenity, lots of deep breaths(from the soothing flames, which is great for the heart).
After a shower, I towel off in front of this heater- it looks so lovely, and the instant heat helps me not to catch cold. Love it, Love it, Love it! I no longer wish I was dating to have a guy around that knew how to do things. I nearly moved in frustration over the non-functioning heating/cooling uh hum- system. This heater has saved my life! This is a revolution in heat savings that has wonderful side effects!!!
All in all ladies and gentlemen- love it or hate if for its shortcomings, there isn't another heater out there that has all of its advantages so please stop chopping off a star and give these people their due for an awesome product- 5 stars no less!
For those of you reading reviews prior to buying (I did) consider all the reviews, make sure that the purpose fits the size you want.
Eg. Whether you have a house or live in an apartment, what you must consider is whether you plan to use this heater as your ONLY source of heat, or to SUPPLEMENT your heat. In an apartment, this size heater is fine as the ONLY heat source. You might want to buy the larger one for the only heat source for a house- you may not need it, but just in case you need it for your particular need, you will be covered. Also, don't forget to turn off, then unplug your heater(s) when not needed, if you are looking for the holy grail of cost savings as well.
Here's to us saving a bunch of money on heating bills!!!!!
SPECIAL NOTE:
I am adding this note after experiencing something you should know about. Using this heater as the only heat source, after a while it seems that the heat has subsided, even when sitting or standing near it. SOLUTION: Simply turn the unit off, then turn it on again, the ALAKAZAM! The heat is on again, full force, and not trying to be shy about being the finest heater that ever (dare I say lived?)
