I waited several months after purchasing this vacuum to do a review on it. So far, it's absolutely excellent. It's powerful, the attachments work well, it's easy to move around, and the quality is fine. No problems at all. The only potential drawback is the small capacity of the dust container. I have a yellow lab that sheds constantly. When I vacuum once a week, I need to empty the dust container at least 4 times. (terrible for a 1200 foot house!). Other than that, you will be hard pressed to find a better canister vacuum for the price.Customer Review: Finally a vacuum I love!

My niece recommended this vacuum to me as I hated several that I've purchased! This one is light weight, easy to use and has an easy-to-empty compartment. It's the first bagless vac I've used that didn't blow dust all over during the vacuuming and emptying processes. I highly recommend it. The only thing I didn't like was the way the 3 small attachments are connected to the vacuum. I have removed them and store them separately as they kept falling off while I was cleaning. I would prefer them attached to the body of the unit.Customer Review: Awesome little machine!

Hubby has been taking over the cleaning on the weekends---he loves this vaccuum! We love the retractable electrical cord (zips quickly back into the machine). We can vaccuum the entire living room without an extension. It rolls very easily behind you, and the extensions are long enough to vacuum the ceiling cobwebs. We have all wood floors, and it sucks up the dirt extremely well (using the wood floor nozzles). Just don't forget to keep emptying the filter container--it is small because the machine is small and lightweight.Customer Review: Best product for wood and tile floors

For the price you won't find anything better than this vac for hardwood and tile floors. The carpet cleaning attachment is ok for carpets but is difficult to use on high pile, works good on low pile berber. Suction is unbelievable, noise is average with a slight high pitch whine at full power. I've use Dyson (overpriced and cheaply made), Oreck(overpriced and cheaply made), and Miele (just plain overpriced) and none outperform this dirt devil on hard floors. The Dirt Devil Vision Turbo moves smoothly over both carpet and pergo flooring (though the turbo head is much better for carpeting), is convenient to store, has a long cord that easily extends and retracts from the base of the vacuum, and is easy to empty. I also love being able to control the power of the vacuum at the top of the wand vs. having to go back to the base and push a button or flip a switch to turn it on or off or change the settings. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and price of this vacuum.
