I've been buying the only replacement bags and belts I could find at the local discount store for my old Dirt Devil, made by a different manufacturer. The performance of the vaccum really suffered. The bags seemed like a harder paper and seemed to reduce airflow and the belts slipped. I could hear the beater bar slowing down or stalling all the time. I thought maybe it was time for a new vacuum.
Then, I found the real Dirt Devil bags and belts here on Amazon and they brought my old Dirt Devil back to life. Suction power is far better than it's been and I can feel the beater brushes pulling the vacuum forward like when it was new, without the belt slipping at all. Huge difference!
My belts were shipped by Lansing Vacuums. Nice price and fast, free shipping.
