ON THE PLUS SIDE: UNIT IS RELATIVELY LIGHTWEIGHT AND HOLDS A CHARGE WELL. ON THE MINUS SIDE: SUCTION POWER IS FAIR AT BEST.UNIT MUST BE HELD NEARLY VERTICAL AND PRESSED TOWARD FLOOR TO ENSURE PICKUP OF SMALL ITEMS LIKE LOOSE KITTY LITTER.THE ONLY ADVANTAGE OVER A STANDARD BROOM AND DUST PAN IS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BEND OVER TO PICK UP THE DIRT. I'm a little disapointed with this purchase. It's basically a heavy dustbuster on a stick. You have to manever it completly upright and directly in the middle of the broom for it to pick up/vacuum. If this was a twenty dollar item i'd be satisfied but fifty bucks was too expensive.Customer Review: could be better

This is really handy. Yes, it could hold a charge longer and it could have more sucking power and my red charging light already doesn't work------but, it is convenient and easy to use.Customer Review: It's okay, well kinda---

It is handy. It is a good idea. But there is a technical flaw which makes it's use very limited. The space between the filter and the intake tube is very narrow. If you pick up anything larger than bread crumbs, the debris just jambs up, clogging the intake tube and you have to constantly stop, open it, and dig out the jamb.
Emptying the canister is clumbsy because of the weight of the bottom of the tool. You have to juggle the tool with one hand and push a button with the other hand and try to catch the canister. Then put down the stick and use 2 hands to remove the filter and dump the contents. Getting the canister back on the stick is not easy, either.
I have emailed the manufacturer about this problem, but they just give me lame replies like "there is a 1-year defect warranty" and "the manual is available online."
