Customer Review: GREAT little vacuum!

I have to sweep the kitchen floor daily in order to keep it clean. I bought a cheap Dirt Devil cordless vacuum several years ago and it was terrible - you could only vacuum for a few minutes before the suction began to weaken. It hardly had the strength to pick anything up, and I didn't like how I had to bend down to plug it into its charger all the time. Also, dirt would fall out of it when I was done vacuuming. I soon stopped using it and gave it away or threw it out. Recently I decided to see if there was a better quality vacuum out there and after reading a lot of reviews, decided to buy this dirt devil, which is shaped the same as my old one but with a more powerful motor.
I am thrilled to say that this one works PERFECTLY for my needs. It's got great suction and has no problem picking up kitty litter and kitchen crumbs off the floor. I run it over my area rugs and it does a terrific job sprucing things up. Like other reviewers said, it is no replacement for a regular vacuum cleaner - I use that when I want to do a deep cleaning. But for a quick tidying up, it's perfect. I love how it just sits in it's little holder and I don't have to bend down to plug and unplug it. I appreciate that it stops charging when the charge is full, so that it doesn't burn out the battery or waste electricity. I love the convenience (because it sits right there in my kitchen, ready to go), the fact that I don't have to deal with cords, no bags, plenty of power, and it's light and easy to manuver.
The only cons are that I still do have to bend down quite a bit to pull out the tube which holds the dirt, and snapping it back in place is rather awkward. You have to press it in quite hard, while bending over. It's also rather noisy for such a little thing, but I have an especially quiet regular vacuum cleaner so maybe it won't seem noisy to others.
