Customer Review: I Hate Floors

Health scare paranoia aside, does the product work? None of the quick-clean floor products substitute for old-fashioned scrubbing on hands and knees. At least, none that I've come across.
But if you appreciate the convenience of a Swiffer-type product and ease of a hand-vacuum, but dislike the cost of Swiffer-type refill papers and the sad limitations of a hand-vac, you might find this a worthwhile quick-fix to the problem of labrador-created dust bunnies and toddler-inspired cracker crumbs.
The Rechargeable Broom Vacuum is just that -- a Dust Buster and broom all in one. Good suction and holds the charge nicely, too. A negative point because unlocking the dirt container from the motor is a bit cumbersome. On the other hand, unlike my hand-vac, I don't actually have to stick my hands into the accumulated 'ick' to empty the container.
Anything to avoid pulling out a vacuum cleaner, this product does exactly what I hoped and expected it would do. It doesn't polish the floors. It doesn't do rugs, curtains or upholstery. And while a broom and dust pan may offer the convenience of operating without an electrical charge, my back doesn't so for that, I give this one a thumb's up.

I really like this vacuum. I have a rather large kitchen and 3 small children, so there's always crumbs on the floor. Instead of hauling out my regular heavy vacuum, I just get my Dirt Devil out. It's lightweight and there's no cords to mess with. It's always charged because I keep it plugged into the charger when not in use. Sometimes I have to go over an area a few times to pick up all the debris, but it's still better than getting out my big vacuum. I wish I would have gotten one of these a long time ago!Customer Review: Great dirt getter!!!!!!

This is great for getting up the dirt in the corners of the kitchen. Plus no getting down with the dustpan trying to get that last bit of dirt.

The dirt cup is roomy looking and would seem to hold a lot, but if you are vaccumming dust or pet fur it collects at the top of the cup, blocking dirt from entering into the collection cup. You have to empty the cup every couple of minutes as the dust/fur collects. It works well for beach sand and cat litter though.Customer Review: Only fair not good

I read the reviews on this and it seemed like it had what I needed. Good suction, able to pick up cat hair and dust. It did state that the vacuum had to be held in a certain way.
I bought it on Amazon but from Macy's. I thought I was getting a better model because it was $70 as opposed to the others for $50. But there clearly is no difference. So stick to the lowest price you can find. If you buy this at all.
It does pick up if you are careful as to the angle of the vacuum, but you constantly have to clear out the filter and it is just plain dirty. If you have 3 cats as I do, and lots of dust, it clogs easily and then there is not suction.
The only good thing about this is that it is cordless and light weight, but a broom and dustpan work just as well and less frustrating.
