My Cougar sucks now and that's a good thing!
After installing these replacement filters, my Cougar Vacuum has all the power it had the first day I plugged it in. I clean my Kozi pellet stove weekly and occasionally vacum out the inside of my Country Comfort wood stove fireplace insert. The Love-Less Cougar makes easy work of the chore and the filters make the vacuum work like new. Just remember to wait until all the ash is cool. I had picked up some hot ash and that ruined the original filters.

I can say that the quality of the product seems to be really good. I am not sure how long they last. The ones that came originally on my vacuum lasted me for about a year. I use the vacuum for my pellet stove. I don't like the idea of not being able to wash them and use them again.Customer Review: false picture

The picture of this item shows that the clamps are included. They are not. However, the discription of the product at the bottom of the page does say that the package contains only the filters. To me, this is false advertising. It makes me wonder if I should buy from Amazon.com.Customer Review: please be careful

Linked by amazon to Northern tool for this product I found that you do not get the clamps as pictured. Upon calling Horthern Tool I was told to send the filters back as they must be packed short. 10 days later I received a replacement filter set and still did not receive any clamps. Calling Northern Tool again, and having another conversation, I was told they would have to get a vendor response to this issue. That was 2 months ago. No word from anyone. Fourty dollars later I feel I have been totally screwed.
