Customer Review: Does not deserve all of the negative reviews, we love it.

Let me clear up all of the negative reviews. The dyson vacuum sucks really hard. (Thats why we bought it) It sucks so hard loose material is sucked up into the brush, stopping the brush. If it kept running it would probably rip and tear what we were cleaning, ruining it.
However, on something with tight material it works flawlessly.
So look at the item you want to use this on and think of those old "can you pinch an inch" commercials. If the material is so loose that you can easily grab it with your fingers forget it (Our couch and pillows). However if the material is tight enough that you cant grab a piece of it (Our lazy-boy and our dinning room chairs) it will work just great.
P.S. works awesome for pet hair on stairs!
I only gave it 4 stars because of the things it cant be used on. BUT it would work better with less suction, BUT then with less suction it wouldn't work as well.....

I personally find that this attachment works better than any other that I've ever used. I've noticed better results if I sweep side to side rather than back and forth... a little awkward at first but I'm used to it now. I still use the crevice tool to get into corners on the steps, but overall I'm impressed with the results I get with this attachment. I've learned not to press so hard as to stop the spinning insert and I sometimes have to reposition the filter. This $69 price does seem a bit steep.Customer Review: Surprised at how much hair it scuked up

This product seems to work pretty well for me despite what other people said. I have two cats that shed a lot and I had dumped out the canister just to see how much hair was on my stairs. After I was done vaccuuming it was quite a surprising amount because the stairs don't look like theres much hair on it. My stairs have a short-mediumish length carpet. I paid an extra $40 to upgrade to the animal dyson DC25 so this came included with the vaccuum.Customer Review: Works pretty well

I have an older yellow dyson (dc07) and connected this attachment to the hose. Suction is not as great as using the hose by itself, but worked pretty well on the stairs and bedspreads where I wanted to get out dog hair from our chocolate lab. Takes a bit of time but it got the job done and with a lot less strain on my back! dont forget to wipe off the filter so the airflow remains strong.Customer Review: USE TOOL WITH SHOP-VAC

I BOUGHT THIS TOOL TO USE WITH MY SHOP-VAC AND IT WORKS GREAT. I NEVER HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH IT STOPPING OR GETTING CAUGHT ON ANYTHING. IT DOES PICK-UP CATHAIR VERY NICELY. I CANNOT FIND MY INSTRUCTIONS AND I DO HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS REGARDING REPLACEMENT OF THE FILTER AND WHAT THAT SWITH IS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE MACHINE. I HAVE TRIED TO MOVE IT, BUT SO FAR I HAVE HAD NO LUCK.
