Customer Review: The Best Vacuum Hands Down.

It's a Dyson, at nearly half the price it was selling for at Home Depot. The attachments are great and the powered hand tool is awesome. This is the best vacuum we have ever owned, hands down. We've been through a few of them and always end up tossing them or giving them away. What I like most is the the absence of that plume of dust you get when starting up a vacuum. We've had if for about 8 months now, and the only complaint I have is...none. We have two dogs, one cat, and a daughter who likes to bring her friends over and mess the place up. Friends come over and see the Dyson and think we're rich, until we tell them how much we paid for it. They bend over as if in pain knowing they wasted their money on a Hoover clone at Wal-Mart when they could have had a refurbished Dyson for the same price.
If you want the best vacuum on the market, but don't want to pay the ridiculous price, this is the place to get one.

This is possibly the very best purchase that I have ever made on Amazon.com. (And, I've made quite a few purchases.) It lives up to all the hype and does even better than I expected.
I have two dogs in my house that shed like crazy. It has been an impossible task to keep the dog hair off of the carpets and furniture in my home. It was embarrassing to have company come over and set on the furniture or just see the dog hair on the carpet.
But... no more! As soon as I took my new Dyson out of the box, I tested it on a small hallway where my dogs like to lay when inside my home. It's probably 15 feet long and about 4-5 feet wide. It FILLED the canister with dog hair when I cleaned it for the first time with my Dyson. And, while that was terrible to think about, I was thrilled to know that this dog hair was no longer in my carpet nor my home.
The rest of the house is now throughly cleaned!

We purchased a refurbished Dyson Animal DC17 (no ball) about 4 months ago. It showed up looking brand new, had all of the manuals & came with the extra attachments because of the "animal" aspect of the machine. I additionally ordered another cleaning kit (Home Cleaning Kit) containing 3 more brushes, so I'm accessoried-out with Dyson attachments.
My pet-rich family is very happy with this vacuum cleaner. We previously used a Watermaid cannister vacuum that worked well, but was a pain to pull around. The Dyson proved itself on the first swipe - an amazing amount of pet hair went into the cannister. The Dyson is very easy to empty & my kids willingly do it now (complained when we used the Watermaid because of having to clean/shake out the filters).
The was a pricey purchase and it took me a long time to pull the trigger. I'm happy that I finally did it.

I took a chance on buying the remanufactured DC17, and I am very pleased with it. It looked completely new when I unboxed it- I wasnt sure what I would see after reading some of the reviews, but I had no problem assembling it, I found the directions easy to understand, even though they are pretty funny little pictures- no writing! I didnt need any tools to assemble it. It took me about 5 minutes or less to put it together. it vacuums much better than my previous vacuum - a Hoover windtunnel or something which I paid about 300 dollars for - which is now long gone- took it to the dump! I have not had any problems with clogging and we are remodeling our house- dry wall dust, chunks of dirt, you name it- Im vacuuming it up with this thing. I especially like the filter- it really does filter the dust. I think it was definitely worth the money, especially being a rebuilt model.Customer Review: I'm In Love

I repeatedly bought inexpensive vacuum cleaners & tried to keep up with the hair of 2 dogs & 3 cats, very unsuccessfully. They would clog up every time I would vacuum. Vacuum, clog, unplug, unclog, plug in & repeat. I hated vacuuming. Then I decided to throw caution to the wind & buy this Dyson. I am in love! This machine is a God send. I will never buy another vacuum cleaner & hopefully I won't have to. My rugs don't remember ever being this clean & I don't mind sitting on the floor again! I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone with pets that is looking for an EXCELLENT vacuum cleaner. The attachments are helpful & very easy to use. I just can't get over the suction, it never stops! It is also great on bare floors with the brush disengaged, I've NEVER had that before. I could go on & on but all I can say is you are crazy if you DON'T buy this cleaner.
