The threads at the bottom are quite thick and should I say rubbery compared to other microfiber mops I've owned. Then again you might slip if they were any other kind. I've only vacuumed these so far even though I've yet to see any dust on them. Either I've cleaned well or they just spread the dust around. I have yet to see how these will hold in the washing machine. If I'd buy something like this again, I'd probably look for the ones that have velcro attached mop and spares that can be easily replaced and washed.Customer Review: Just okay--nothing great

I've had these for over a year now and wore them when I first got them. They are okay..but don't really pick up that much. They are comfortable. But I was thinking they would help out much more. If you have scatter rugs on your hardwood...these really aren't gonna help you much.
I'll be donating mine to goodwill--maybe someone else will find them more useful.
