I don't normally review things so quickly, but I was amazed at how well this worked. I had stripped the head of a recessed screw on my laptop. I bought this, not knowing if it would work, but worth a shot. I honestly didn't expect it to work so quickly. I attached it to a ratcheting screwdriver, made a quick turn and when I shined a flashlight down in that hole I'd been struggling with for days, the screw was resting there, no longer screwed in! I found something my dad doesn't already have in his workshop! He loves these. They are great quality & really do the job. He's been able to get broken screws out of anything & everything. So, if you're like me & strip all your screws and your dad gets aggravated, just buy this for him. He'll thank you for it!

I stripped a screw in my notebook computer that held the hard drive in place and was unable to remove it by any conventional means (or even some unconventional ones, like trying to superglue a screwdriver to the stripped screw). I've had several sets of screw removers over the years but this is the first set that actually performed well. I had several screw in my table saw where the heads were completely stripped. These extractors grabbed on and held on making it easy to remove the screws. I would definately buy these again.
