Here in San Francisco, we have to compost our food garbage, and these bags fit nicely into the compostable bins supplied by the garbage company. Even though they are only 1 gallon, a lot can be put into them. There is no smell as these bags are high quality.Customer Review: Make Composting Cleaner!

I bought these because I could only find the 33 gallon Husky EcoGuard Lawn & Leaf bags locally. While they are somewhat thinner than the EcoGuard, they do get the job done. For the $9.99 price at the time, I was able to purchase 25 of these 2.5 gallon bags for a little more than the price of 10 of the larger bags available locally.Customer Review: SERVE THE PURPOSE, BUT THEY LEAK

I LOVE THAT THESE ARE BIODEGRADEABLE, AND I'M SURE IT'S BECAUSE OF THAT FACT THAT I HAVE MY ONLY COMPLAINT--THEY LEAK. WE DON'T CHANGE OUR COMPOSTER EVERYDAY (MORE LIKE ONCE EVERY 3-6 DAYS) AND THE COMPOSTER ALWAYS HAS FLUID ON THE BOTTOM. SOMEWHAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE, BUT I CONTINUE TO BUY THEM ANYWAY...
