Customer Review: Can't believe I've lived without this!!!!

I love this vacuum cleaner. I had an oreck for the last 5 years, and it got to the point where it wasn't doing its job anymore. So I did some research online and found this to be the best vacuum for the price.
Wow was I surprised, it was better than I had hoped. I have two dogs so the hair is everywhere...and I vacuumed the entire house when I got this in the mail, and my carpets looked so great afterwards, no hair! Yes it is a little heavy, but it has a powerful motor in it, and its worth the minor exercise to keep my carpets clean!
I don't write reviews very often, I usually reserve them for the exceptionally good or really bad...and this vacuum is awesome so I had to write one.

This machine replaces a much older Eureka with the Beater Bar Brush from the 60,2 /70's..Three 20 by 20 rooms and they looked cleaned...I pulled out 1/3 bag of Dust.....Wow...Double Wow...12 amps and the lights kind of dim but This baby sucks.....Buy it but have your husband run it... Not for weak ladies.....This Machine has been designed to Clean deep and remove that 80 pounds of dust a house generates each year.....You want Results you Need Hardware and this Machine has it... Big Feature is the Wand to clean the corners and edges of carpet....The Hepa Filter is just the Best.....No stink from last years dust and dirt....This Machine is a real value ....Buy Buy BUY It Review: Yes, it's heavy but it works so wellSummary: 5 Stars I bought this vacuum from Amazon two years ago (based on the reviews here). If you have any kind of a problem pushing something than I guess I'd recommend you find a lighter vacuum because it is clunky, but I don't mind because it handles so well and does such a great job. I really feel as though my room is clean after I'm finished. The cord is long and I don't have to unplug to get to the other side of my room. The attachments are easy to use. I agree with the one reviewer who said it almost feels as though you are going to break the lever because you have to push down hard with your foot, but once I got used to how much force it takes it because second nature. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Granted, I'm coming from a second-hand Bissell that sounded like my very own jet engine, but this vacuum is great! I don't send my two children into hysterics every time I turn it on. It actually cleans the floor (ah, the wonderful sound of tiny bits of dirt disappearing into the sucking machine!). I mean, it REALLY cleans the floor. I drop something sticky, I pick it up and it's not covered in fuzz! I don't get a monstrous asthma attack every time I use it because of the Hepa filter. The directions for use were clear and concise. Every little part went where the manual said it was supposed to go (and none of them fall off). Fabulous. And!! The best part! I bought this product based on the Consumer Reviews and so far it meets my expectations. It does a great job of cleaning my berber carpets and tile floor. Although the pedal is a bit difficult to release, I find that if I use my heel it's easier to release. It is heavy, however, the description on the box does state that it's 25 pounds. The attachments are great for cleaning between sofa cushions and floor crevices. We own a Shiba Inu Dog and this breed SHEDS! The vacuum does a great job in retrieving all the hair. Overall I think for $150 it's a great buy. Surely you can buy a better product, but the cost will be over $300. I do recommend this vacuum.
