This inexpensive little headlight is better than the $100-$150 unit you can buy at REI. It has a red mode to preserve night vision, the battery lasts forever, and I actually ran one of mine over on a cement driveway and it wasn't fazed. This would be a good deal at $50 dollars and it's only around $15.Customer Review: This is a great product, and toy.

I purchased one recently, and I love it! It's very light weight since it uses LED bulbs, and is very bright. I bought it for myself, but it turns out the kids love it too. They strap it on and play explorer, and they love the red bulb feature. I'm buying them as gifts for all my nephews.Customer Review: Great for changing diaper at night

We have a new baby. I bought this for hands-free diaper changing and moving around at night. The red LED is easy on sleepy eyes and more than bright enough for the task. I wear this at work, strapped to my hardhat like a miner. It is very bright, and the batteries last a long time. I don't use the redlight feature, just the white. I got tired of holding my Maglite between my teeth to work with both hands.
