This is the second of these clocks I have purchased. The first one I bought several years ago and it has performed without any problems and that is the reason I went online to buy another one. It is an analog clock so it can be set in several seconds compared to the digital which takes a while. The alarm gradually gets louder the longer it takes to snooze it or turn it off. The batteries for the lighted dial last about a year. The clock battery lasts several years. This is a much better product than the other battery-operated alarms that you typically would find in a retail store.
