I just bought this vacuum yeasterday and was absolutely amazed how well it worked. My previous vacuum (a 5-yr-old Fantom Fury) just wasn't doing the trick. Whenever my 7-month-old was on the floor he always managed to find the hair and crumbs the vacuum left behind even after vacuuming over the area several times. I did a lot of research through Consumer Reports as well as personal reviews wherever I could find them and settled on this one. After I put together this one and vacuumed I was disgusted and amazed by how much dirt was in the bin after only vacuuming the living room. The bin is so much easier to empty than my old one and the hose isn't connected to the handle which frankly was a pain and didn't work very well. I think I definately chose the right vacuum!!!Customer Review: We are very pleased

This was my first real vacuum purchase--after several hand-me downs and I we are so pleased. I can't believe how well it picks up long hair out of the carpet and the ease of emptying the bagless vac is amazing--we tried several other models and I just kept having the feeling that the clips holding the dirt container would break--this one is so easy to use though--in and out.
It even came with an extra belt--which I thought was pretty impressive since I had to purchase several of them for my last vac.
I am so happy with this purchase...as skeptical as I was when we were at the store and during my research prior to the purchase (when I buy something like this I expect it to last for awhile--and that I shouldn't have to purchase a new one every year).Customer Review: Great....so far

I had to go out and buy a new vacuum because I had to keep taking apart my old one to get out all of the pet hair and I broke it by accident. I picked this one up since the other reviews seemed to like it for the price. Pulled it out of the box, attached the handle and the hose and I was off! It pulled up dog hair that has probably been there for months along with dust and dirt I didn't know was there. I didn't realize how terrible my other vacuum cleaner was or how dirty my carpets really were until I brought this home. It worked great. My carpet looks new again. As long as this one holds up and the dog hair doesn't start clogging before it makes it to the canister, I am in love! Great vac for the price!Customer Review: Being a messy pet owner I love It!

I selected this item because it was an Amazon bestseller. I could not be happier with it. I have a little black cat, who I love, but I don't love her little black hair everywhere. It mostly it ends up on my hardwood floors and couch. This vacuum should be standard for any pet owner. With it I can get all the hairballs all over my apartment in one shot, a job which used to take three Swiffers, twice a week. The upholstery cleaner gets all the hair off the couch and makes it look tidy when the job is done. The vacuum itself is powerful enough to get all the hair and stray litter off my hardwood floors.I am so glad I bought this vacuum. Now if there was only a way to get the cat to pay for it :)

I bought this vacuum cleaner at my local Target based on the reviews here at Amazon and on Target's website. I LOVE THIS VACUUM CLEANER!! Keeping in mind my old one was dying, hence my need to buy a new one, thus my carpets may have been dirtier than I thought, but this really gets the dirt and crud out!! I didn't find I had any problems emptying the cannister but then I emptied it pretty much after every use. I've only owned it for a week, so I can't attest to too much, but I would definately say that the reviwers are correct- this is an excellent vacuum cleaner. I have a one year old son who is constantly getting small crumbs spread about and creating messes and this vacuum gets it all up!
