I had limited expectations for this vacuum cleaner - I mean, how much can one expect for $69.99? My intention was to use it for quick pick-ups between "real cleanings." And then I was shocked to see how easily it outperformed my "serious" vacuum cleaner, especially on cat hair, as I have two of those shedding monsters. Moreover, it is light enough for me to easily take it up and down stairs, and it is so compact that it is easily stored even in the smallest of homes. This is a winner!Customer Review: Wow

What a great vacuum cleaner. I've only used this once but I'm confident that it will last a long time with proper care. It was pretty easy to assemble with just a few steps. You will need a phillips screwdriver though. I was amazed at how much dirt and animal hair that was sucked up off of the carpeting and rugs. It is a good idea to clean the filter after every use. This is just an all around well built affordable vacuum cleaner. This vacuum cleaner sucks and I mean that in a good way.Customer Review: Great Vacuum for a great price

I bought this vacuum cleaner after reading some of the reviews here at [...]. I really didn't have too much faith in it but I decided to give it a shot.
After receiving this machine I have to say that this vacuum in AWESOME! I have to admit that this is the best vacuum I have ever bought. This includes the other bran names like dirt devil, hoover, and kenmore.
It is lightweight and really picks up some dirt. I love it. This was a good buy.

This is a great little vacuum for the price! It is very powerful and the suction is incredible. I have a dog and two cats and this lightweight machine does an excellent job of getting these hairs off the carpet. It also only has only one filter to clean and this can be done by shaking it out every time you empty the waste cup. The manufacturer recommends replacing it every six months but it really only needs to be shaken out and occasionally "hosed" down in the sink.Customer Review: Best Vacuum Ever

I have been so thrilled with this vacuum, I recently bought two more Eureka 4700a Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuums; one for my parents and one as a second vacuum for my home. This is a marvelous product, and that's a lot to say in a household with three animals.
The only disappointment was that Eureka did not send a complete kit for assembly (missing screws) so I had to wait a month before being able to have a fully assembled one for use.
