I bought this vacuum as a replacement for another inexpensive bagless vacuum that recently broke down. I have two dogs - one is a collie - and there is one room of the house with carpeting. It took so long to vacuum the carpet with the old machine. This one pulled so much dirt up, it was incredible. My only complaint is that the dirt cup is so small. This is because the vacuum is small and lightweight. It is really powerful. Great purchase. I am very pleased.Customer Review: Excellent Choice for Elderly Parents

Wsa looking for a lightweight vacuumn cleaner for my parents who are in their 80's. Reviews from other customers made my choice easier and they couldn't be happier. It's self propelled, has excellent suction, doesn't have bags so no additional cost outside of xtra cleaning filter and belts which are well worth it so they can be changed when they want. I bought this after our last vacuum (kenmore) gave up. I didn't want to spend a ton since we plan on moving in the next year. I couldn't believe all the hair it sucked up, I had to empty the canister 2x. Its super light and couldn't believe how easy it moves. I was a little thrown off by the other reviews but I am glad I gave it a chance anyways because it was worth every penny and then some.Customer Review: I love Eureka!

This vacuum is great! It has a long power cord which comes in handy, the hand connection (extension) is longer than my previous up-right vacuum cleaner & the vacuum suction works perfect. I prefer the bagless vacuum cleaner so much better because you can see how much dirt is being picked up.
I received my vacuum cleaner within a week of ordering and have no complaints.

Some folks have given this terrible reviews but for the price I think it is great! Has wonderful suction and is lightweight. Works as well as my cannister Hoover Wind Tunnel. The only thing I could ask for it some sort of filter over the exhaust vent. I use this for daily cleaning around my bird cage and sometimes it will throw an occasional seed back out but overall it is great~
